"From guestbook, 9-16-2006 to 9-30-2006 Fall is my favorite season and the two weeks here have been delightful. With the exception of one foggy day, the temps during the day have been 65 to 75 and then cooling down at night. We went to Campobello and both the Quoddy lighthouses. We shopped, ate lobster and soaked up some sun. My favorite trip was to the Schoodic area. Watching the waves pound on the rocks was beautiful. My cameras have been working full time. The locals are extremely friendly, the ladies at the Jonesport library were so helpful when I had some research to do. I’m certainly going to miss the cottage, the spectacular views, the changes from low to high tide and back again, and the relaxation that comes from being in a safe and comfortable environment. "
