"Lake Promise was a perfect retreat for us to get a wonderful taste of the New England 'Winter Wonderland'. Lake Promise gave us a warm and cozy retreat with an instant gas fire, fun games, books and lots of videos to watch. We had great access to Wolfeboro with its artist and craft shops and nice resturants. We also made many trips to Gunstock Mtn for great family winter fun where we skied, snow-shoed and sleded. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable and the master bed and bath are very nice. Large downstairs play / TV room allows for plenty of breathing space. The neighborhood is very nice and the lake and beach across the street which we look forward to seeing in the summer! Nice to be able to park the car in the heated garage! "
