"We rented the house for 8 family members in town for a graduation. The house was in a perfect location for the family activities we planned -- a picnic at Griffith Park in Los Feliz 15 minutes away, walking distance to improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade and 15 minutes to the Hollywood Bowl. The family had a great time! Some tips: bring toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/soap/toothpaste), be very aware of parking signs if you have more than one car as we got a parking ticket for the car not parked in the driveway (street parking can be difficult to find as there's no overnight parking on some streets and street cleaning other days), and the purple entry gate pushes IN from the outside. After figuring out the gate, we had a minor issue with gaining access inside the house upon arrival, but Stephanie and the property manager were very responsive and resolved the problem quickly."
