"Absolutely LOVED the apartment! It was a quick getaway with our college bound son as our family loves visiting Seattle often each year. Thankful to have found this apartment as we will being staying for EVERY visit going forward!!!" - Wannie G., 02/04/2020 (inquire/book) "This property was absolutely perfect! Fantastic accommodations, fantastic views, fantastic location. One of the best properties we’ve stayed at. Hope to make it an annual trip. Thank you!" - Linda C., 01/30/2020 (inquire/book) "Easy access, close to lots of great downtown activities. Clean, comfortable accommodations." - Matthew J., 11/05/2019 (inquire/book) "Well equipped, roomy and comfortable unit. If there were a rating greater than 5, the location of this unit would deserve it. The owner/manager was very prompt and accommodating. A special mention: as part of the check-in process, you get a very complete and helpful email with directions and description of the check-in process. With it, check-in was swift and simple." - Arthur A., Blaine, WA 98231, 10/28/2019 (inquire/book) "Good" - Christine K., 10/12/2019 (inquire/book) "The apartment is perfect for getting around Seattle to do anything and everything. It's only 2 blocks to Pike Place Market and steps from Pioneer Square. Debra was extremely responsive. It could use more glasses if you planning on having a full house. The rug and floors needed some attention after a busy summer. For a very populated apartment complex it was surprisingly quiet! We took advantage of the parking garage. Thank goodness for Debra's directions but after we got the hang of it, it was easy and super convenient." - Katie D., 09/20/2019 (inquire/book) Glad another Picture Properties guest had a great stay at Harbor Steps. If we need more glasses, we can bring them to the unit right away, so don't worry. We could have actually brought them during their stay - they just had to ask! We will definitely check out the rug and clean or replace if needed. Thanks! Debra, Picture Properties
"Overall really great. Would be good if you could send out final info more than a week in advance - we were traveling earlier and almost missed it." - Debra I., 08/10/2019 (inquire/book) Glad these guests had a great stay. If you would like the arrival info sent earlier than a week out due to any special circumstances, we're happy to send it as early as you would like. All you have to do is ask! There's nothing you need to print out, by the way, so you just need a smartphone to access. Thank you! Debra, Picture Properties
"We had a wonderful time in Seattle and we will definitely request 1501 NE for our next visit! The location was perfect and the views were spectacular! There was a lot of space in this two bedroom condo and it worked perfectly for our family!" - Julia S., Where do you live?, 08/08/2019 (inquire/book) "Excellent location for sightseeing. Our property manager, Debra, was outstanding. She was pleasant and always available for questions and assistance. The only negative was the very unwelcoming front desk person who works for the condo association not for a property manager. She was unpleasant to me as well as to our traveling partners." - (Lorna) C., 08/05/2019 (inquire/book) "The unit is well maintained. The view and location were Perfect for us!! Debra, the Property Manager, was very pleasant and prompt answering any questions I had prior to check-in. The front desk check-in person could've been a little friendlier, but the emails I received prior to arrival were extremely helpful. I would definitely choose to stay here again." - Deanna B., 07/17/2019 (inquire/book) "Our family of 5 had a great experience and this property had everything we needed. The location is EXCELLENT but please be aware there are lots of steps to take to get down to the waterfront from the condo. We loved our stay." - Anonymous, 07/08/2019 (inquire/book) Glad another guest had a great time at NE 1501 at Harbor Steps. It is VERY important to know that you do not have to take any steps to get to the water front. They didn't ask (wish they would have!), but there are elevators in the buildings you can access all the way down to Western Ave (the water front level). Thanks! Debra, Picture Properties
"The primary reason we rented two apartments we rented two apartments at Harbor steps was because a good friend lived within two blocks. The location is excellent, with many nearby restaurants and shops, and the ferry within a few blocks' walk. However, the street immediately surrounding the entrance to the apartment immediately surrounding the entrance to the apartments is inhabited by homeless people at night. In the morning, there are flies in the air and the smell of urine. The furnishings of the apartments are very much dated.. There is no air conditioning, and so although the windows are very important, at least one of our windows would not open. There was no Kleenex in the bathrooms. The wine opener was almost useless as it was flimsy and old. And so on and on. It doesn't appear any money has been spent on these apartments for a very long time. Were it not for proximity to our very ill friend, we would not come back." - Denis S., 05/24/2019 (inquire/book) Wow. As you can see by reading all our reviews for all our Harbor Steps units, this guest's opinion is not shared by most. The furnishings are exactly as they appear in the photos. In fact, the two sofas are new from Macy's and high quality. We usually have a few boxes of tissues around the unit - we'll make sure housekeeping has those out. And we'll check on the wine opener right away. Important to note that had this guest informed us about kleenex or the wine opener, he would have had those items delivered right away. We can't help if we are not aware of an issue. We have not heard from other guests about homeless people near Harbor Steps and have not noticed that ourselves. This is one of the best areas of downtown Seattle. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks, Debra, Picture Properties
"Unit was exactly as advertised. A little tricky to navigate the complex, parking, etc. but owner/manager provided accurate instructions in advance of our stay." - Katrina K., Middleton, WI, 04/15/2019 (inquire/book) "Great unit and location- no rental car needed! Would recommend to friends. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with." - NicK R., Edina, MN USA, 04/04/2019 (inquire/book) "We loved our stay at this apartment. We went with a group of five (including 2 children) and had plenty of space. I think the apartment could accommodate 6 comfortably. The location of the apartment can't be beat (just a block from the Four Seasons) and it has amazing views of the water. The apartment complex even has a gym and pool that we used. We will definitely stay there again if we travel to Seattle. Thanks so much to the owners and manager for keeping the place so well maintained!" - Richard W., 04/01/2019 (inquire/book) "Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Harbour Steps 1501. The suite was spacious, clean and ready for us when we arrived. This place really is steps away from some of the best that downtown Seattle has to offer. We enjoyed leaving the car parked in the garage and easily being able to walk everywhere we needed to go, even with little kids. Debra was an excellent host, helping us select the best unit and getting parking sorted out. Would definitely recommend this place to others and would happily return in the future for another visit." - Dan W., 03/05/2019 (inquire/book) "This place has great views and is located just a few blocks from all the attractions." - Adrian T., 02/21/2019 (inquire/book) "Great condo and location. LOVED the view and being so close to everything! Try the Thai restaurant as you walk down the steps (10 steps away) great happy hour menu and bartender. The management company was VERY responsive to anything we asked and very timely. We cooked a lot and enjoyed the home feeling- if we travel back to Seattle, we will most definitely stay here! THANK YOU!!!" - Wendy C., 01/29/2019 (inquire/book) "We had a great experience at the Harbor Steps apartment. Entry was seamless despite our midnight arrival. Just had to get the keys from security and we were on our way. The apartment was spacious, with two private bedrooms and sleeping space for four others on a trundle bed and two long couches. Kitchen supplies were minimal but with so much good food around who wants to cook? The unit has a great view of the Ferris Wheel and Elliot Bay in the background. Centrally located and an easy walk to almost everything we wanted to do: Seattle Art Museum, Pioneer Square, Pike Place Market, Westlake Center. Debra was also super helpful. Our checkout time was 11 AM but our flight didn't depart until 7 PM. Debra was able to help us find a place to stash our luggage, and then to check back in after we figured out my son had left his school backpack behind in the unit after we checked out. As we departed my first though was whether I should just go ahead and reserve this same space for our trip next year." - Arne O., 12/26/2018 (inquire/book) So glad another guest had a great stay with Picture Properties at Harbor Steps. Thought it would be a good idea to mention some of the kitchen items we have since supplies were described as minimal (we think it's pretty expansive): service for at least 12 of plates (sm/lg), bowls, mugs, glasses, utensils, casserole dishes, multiple serving bowls, can opener, wine opener, wine glasses, muffin tins, blender, cookie sheets, pizza pan and pizza slicer, pitcher, carrot peeler, measuring cups and spoons, child dishes and cups, cutting boards, knife block, hot pads, kitchen towels, scissors, square griddle, spices, toaster, pot and pan set, spatulas, turners, whisks, tongs, serving spoons, colander, tea kettle, coffee maker (coffee and filter provided), and more. If you are looking for something specific, just email ahead of time to ask. If any of these items are not there during your stay, just let us know and we can likely get them for you same or next day. Thanks!!! Debra, Picture Properties
"Property was just as described and better! Owner is very easy to work with and made the check in and out process very easy with detailed instructions. The property was very clean, the bedding was luxurious and soft and the beds were super comfortable! Loved everything about this place and we will defiinitely be coming back again to enjoy more of the amazing amenities on the property since this was a quick trip. Thank you Picture Properties!!" - Melanie H., 12/21/2018 (inquire/book) "This was a great condo! Wonderful views of Puget Sound, the Ferris Wheel, and piers. Comfortable accommodations perfect for two couples or family. Plenty of room to spread out. Very walk-able to Pike Place, Pioneer Square and piers. Close to restaurants and activities. Would recommend." - Karyn B., 11/08/2018 (inquire/book) "Everything was wonderful, the condo, accommodations and location can't be beat. The condos concierge was great and easy and Debra from Picture Properties was so accommodating and made the whole experience enjoyable every single step of the way. And of course, can't say enough about the city, food and we had amazing weather so A+++ all around!" - Angie B., Rancho Mirage, Ca, 10/30/2018 (inquire/book) "Easy access to the water and Pike's Market, central to everything else. Be aware there is no A/C but there were fans. And the weather made the lack of AC just fine." - Kevin B., 10/18/2018 (inquire/book) "The location is central to many activities. The place smells like college boy-musty sweat. All the comforters need a wash. No a/c—which was clearly advertised, but in September the nights were hot sleeping with uncomfortable beds. The kitchen and baths were newly updated. If I had to do it again, I might have picked a hotel for nicer beds and a/c. The property manager very responsive which was a huge plus." - Tonya T., Albuquerque, USA, 09/24/2018 (inquire/book) Not sure what smell this guest could have been referring to. Never heard anything about it during their stay. All our bedding is clean and the apartment smells perfectly fresh (just like all our units there at Harbor Steps). Most people think the beds are quite comfortable (you''ll see it as a recurring theme in our reviews). Coincidentally, we upgraded the queen bed in this unit to a king bed after their stay (so two king beds!). Please read through our reviews and feel free to email or call with any questions. Thanks! Debra, Picture Properties
"Harbor steps is conveniently located downtown just steps away from many restaurants and places of interest. The condo is nicely appointed and spotless. If you like to cook you will likely find what you need - including a spice rack - available to you. [we ended up not cooking - too many great options for dining out including breakfast walking distance from the condo.] The condo was spacious enough for the 4 of us with one child getting a bedroom and the 2nd child sleeping on a sofa behind a curtain (tiny but cozy den). The views from master bedroom and the living room are great! The only word of warning - checkin and check out can take a few minutes as you need to pick up the keys from one spot - from a concierge who may or may not be at their desk, then park your car elsewhere, then go to the building. Everything is close by, however several streets are one way so it's easy to take a wrong turn. The management company communicates well and all the steps for checkin and checkout are clearly laid out. I would definitely stay there again if we return to Seattle." - Anonymous, Chicago, IL, 09/07/2018 (inquire/book) So glad another guest enjoyed their stay with Picture Properties at Harbor Steps. Please note, the concierge is almost always there - during business hours there would be 2 people at the front desk (someone there 24 hours). I'm guessing there must have been some emergency and the concierge had to step away for a few minutes when they checked in. If you have car, you just park in front of the building in the loading zone, get your keys from the front desk (in main lobby in SE tower), then drive around the complex to the parking garage. You can park very close to your elevator right up to your unit. It's quite easy and efficient. Let us know if you have any questions at all. Thanks! Debra, Picture Properties
"The apartment was close to all the sights, we had a fabulous time." - Jody A., Grayslake, Illinois, 08/26/2018 (inquire/book) "The property is as described. Perfect location. We felt very comfortable and the property is in a safe area. All four of us enjoyed ourselves. We recommend this property to all." - Mitchell P., 08/22/2018 (inquire/book) "We found the property to be exactly as described in the advertising. It was clean and well appointed. We had two very small issues, and when we called the rental agent they were both handled immediately which we really appreciated. This was one of the most responsive agents we have dealt with for a rental, both before and during our rental." - James G., 08/17/2018 (inquire/book) "Nice location great view of the waterfront /Debra extremely helpful and informative and there to meet your needs" - Nancy K., 08/10/2018 (inquire/book) "Very clean, well maintained condo and close to all amenities. It provided all the comforts of home. The property manager was great to deal with and quick to respond to all our questions. The building was secure so we always felt safe" - Lynn C., 07/12/2018 (inquire/book) "Had a great three day trip." - Fred K., 06/19/2018 (inquire/book) "Our family of 4 enjoyed really enjoyed staying in the 1501 unit of Harbor Steps. It was convenient to everything (Pike Place Market, all forms of transportation, the Waterfront, etc...), and everything we needed was supplied in the apartment. The view out the small balcony was great for watching the ferries and cruise ships go in and out of the waterfront and the Seattle Great Wheel. The apartment was well equipped. The only slight downside was that it can be noisy. With no air conditioning (most places don't have since it never really gets that hot in Seattle), we needed to keep the windows and balcony door open to get the air circulating which means you hear quite a bit of noise, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. I got used to the sound, but my husband usually slept with earplugs. The bedroom in the back of the unit does not have a window that opens so we used the portable fans (provided) to get the air circulating in the cubby and back bedroom which really wasn't a problem and provided white noise for our sons who slept back there. Overall, a very nice visit and I would stay here again." - Pauline S., 06/15/2018 (inquire/book) "This condo is in a great location, right in the heart of downtown Seattle. The owners were easy to work with and check-in, check-out was a breeze. The front desk at Harbour Place was also very helpful during our stay. The condo had everything we needed, was clean, and the view was great! We would definitely stay again." - Lyne M., 06/08/2018 (inquire/book) "The condo is very true to the description and pictures. It's on the 15th floor of a condo building that is 1 block from Pike's and 1 block to the waterfront. The balcony has an awesome view of Puget Sound that includes the ferris wheel, the famous ferries, cruise ships, cargo ships, and mountains in the distance. The 2 bedrooms are pretty standard...nothing fancy, but everything you need. The trundle bed in the alcove is pretty comfy but only has a privacy curtain so better for kids or those just needing to crash at the end of the night. Kitchen is very nice and fully furnished with modern appliances and kitchenware. A few extras that were nice to see were a kid's booster seat, pack & play, 2 floor fans, a vacuum, and an iron. Also, the wifi worked well. There is a Target 1 block away, which is great for groceries and random supplies. There is also a nice convenience market downstairs that has beer, wine, snacks, etc. and makes good breakfast and lunch sandwiches (pro tip: call down in the morning and they can make sandwiches in 5-10 min for you to grab on your way out for your daytime adventure.) There are a ton of breweries and an obscene amount of Starbucks nearby (there's a Starbucks Reserve right downstairs.) If you're looking to exercise while here, there are a couple gyms available and there is a great paved running trail along the waterfront. Overall, this was a great place for our long weekend. It was comfortable and a short walk to lots of places. We would stay here again." - Shane & Bobbi-Jo M., Austin, TX, 05/22/2018 (inquire/book) "Great property, great location, and very clean! We are looking forward to our next visit!" - Matt B., 04/23/2018 (inquire/book) "Great view. Great place with many things in the apartment to make it feel like home. Owners were very thorough with arrival and departure instructions and help during the week." - Amy H., 04/14/2018 (inquire/book) "Clean, amazing views, beautiful place!!" - Gina G., 04/01/2018 (inquire/book) "Highly recommend! Very clean and beautiful apartment, close to all downtown activities. Debra was very communicative from start to finish, and made the entire process very easy. We would absolutely stay here again." - Becca B., 03/05/2018 (inquire/book) "Staff at Harbor Steps are extremely helpful and friendly. The property was clean, and very nice and comfortable. The condo layout was perfect. Great location!" - Elizabeth C., 03/02/2018 (inquire/book) Please know that this review is for a different unit that we have since moved out of at Harbor Steps (same with all previous reviews). We are now in a much larger Harbor Steps water view unit - enjoy!!
"Excellent location within easy walking distance to major tourist areas. Very clean and well maintained. Extremely spacious. Would highly recommend this property" - Allison B., North Curl Curl, 01/29/2018 (inquire/book) "Great experience from check in through check out and excellent location right in the heart of downtown! Highly recommend!" - Stacey P., 01/02/2018 (inquire/book) "We just wrapped up a long weekend here and we will definitely be back! We will also be recommending this property to others. Absolutely perfect location, great owner, very well done!" - Stacey D., 11/27/2017 (inquire/book) "We had a wonderful time on our visit to Seattle. The apartment was in a great location and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything about our experience was first class. Thank you!!" - Robert T., 11/26/2017 (inquire/book) "Facilities were top notch. Great views. Great food near by. Very fun time." - Derek O., 11/25/2017 (inquire/book) "Fitting a family into a small hotel room is not always easy, nor relaxing after a busy day of activity. I loved coming back to this comfortable and clean apartment and having space for kids to spread out and to relax. They loved the pool/hot tub as well as the common space terrace. Location was convenient to attractions as well as monorail and train. Check-in and out information was thorough and helpful." - Natalie D., 10/24/2017 (inquire/book) "We loved the accommodations- it is perfect for a family, or for a two-couple long weekend get away, which is what we enjoyed. Each couple had a lovely bedroom and bath- the unit was well-equipped and perfectly located for all of the city sights. A special treat was hanging out on the rooftop community room where you can BBQ, sip wine, and enjoy the skyline, sunset, and views of the water. So glad we chose this spot as our lauchpad for getting to know the City and enjoying all that it has to offer!!" - Terry C., United States, 10/21/2017 (inquire/book) "The unit was ideal for 2 couples in town to visit Safeco and CenturyLink. It was within easy walking distance of the places we wanted to visit over the weekend and everything we needed was available; easy check-in, comfortable unit with nice views. Would stay again if in Seattle." - Tama O., 10/06/2017 (inquire/book) "The location could not be better for site seeing and restaurant options! We arrived in the wee hours of the morning and the check in process was so easy. Super clean. Great lay out for families or two couples. It would also be great for business due to location. Beds and furniture are very comfortable. It was not over the top fancy, but definitely priced right and a solid place to stay!" - Wendy H., 09/21/2017 (inquire/book) "This property is great. The apartment is very comfortable, well stocked, convenient to everything downtown and just blocks away from the monorail to the Space Needle and other attractions. Parking was never a problem and we walked to nearly every place we wanted to see. Pike Place Market, the Harbor and many restaurants are steps away. The apartment was like a plush hotel. As it mentions in the description, it IS downtown, so expect downtown noise. If you're looking for birds chirping and wildlife - look at some other properties. If you want to be close to everything in a 4 Star environment, book this." - Jeff G., 09/08/2017 (inquire/book) "The location of this unit was perfect. Unfortunately the weather was very warm (Upper 90) (with no AC but a fan for each room) but it did get comfortable at night. Check in was great. Parking was a snap and convenient. The accommodations were very nice. and having a full kitchen and internet were a big plus. We did have construction that was occurring during the evening time off 1st Ave so keeping the windows open to cool off room was a minor inconvenience. Being able to walk around Seattle to see the sites from this central location was great. Don't miss the awesome food and coffee shops around the neighborhood....This was very nice!!! You cannot go wrong staying at this overall relaxing location!!!" - Thomas Y., Fort Collins, Colorado, 08/29/2017 (inquire/book) "This was the perfect location and accommodation size for our girls get away. Will highly recommend to others and will definitely come back!" - Geraldine G., 08/28/2017 (inquire/book) "This condo is a great downtown location. Close to the famous public market, the waterfront and public transportation. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see in Seattle and fabulous restaurants close by too. The condo was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again." - Kim C., Live Oak, CA, 08/20/2017 (inquire/book) "We stayed for 4 days and enjoyed every minute. The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything you could possibly want to do. We walked to the baseball stadium one night and the space needle and sculpture garden on 2 different days. Many restaurants and bars right on the block. I would highly recommend this property for a stay in Seattle." - Sue B., Wall, NJ, 08/11/2017 (inquire/book) "Wonderful place, great location! Lucy at the front desk was amazing and extremely helpful. The unit was very clean. Could use a few hooks in the bathroom to hang towels on - Everything was perfect and professional!" - dayna b., 08/01/2017 (inquire/book) "I had a few questions prior to arrival and Debra promptly responded to each one of them - very helpful esp for first time visitors in Seattle. The location was just fantastically perfect - two blocks from the Link station which we took from Sea-Tac airport, a block from the amazing Pike place market, restaurants galore & a convenient store downstairs. Beautiful views of the city and harbor! The place was well stocked and CLEAN! I didn't even have to reach out to Debra during our stay because our (5 of us) family needs were met beyond our expectations. Also, the front desk lobby staff were super friendly - they even stored our luggage after the 11am checkout & before our 2pm cruise check in while we walked around the area. Definitely will use this place & any of Debra's properties when we visit next time. To summarize, 9 words: location location location clean clean clean views views views! Again, Thank you Debra for an awesome apartment.. my family loved it! Ron & Lynnea Ragsag Nolensville, TN" - Ronald R., 07/25/2017 (inquire/book) "This condo is great place to stay esp if you want to be close to Pikes Place. It was clean and the property manger was very responsive. I would highly recommend this place!!!!" - Darren H., 07/23/2017 (inquire/book) "This property was probably the best we have stayed at through VRBO. The location was fantastic, the apartment was very spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again!" - Suzie O., 07/05/2017 (inquire/book) "The property was very clean. Location was great , walking distance to Pikes Place Market. The restaurants close by were also very good. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Seattle." - Pauline D., 06/23/2017 (inquire/book) "The Harbor Steps property was possibly the best condo we have ever rented. Very affordable compared to other properties in the area. We walked to CenturyLink Field, Washington Square, the Space Needle, the Aquarium, and Pike's Place Market, so we were able to park our car (for a very reasonable rate) and just leave it so we didn't have to deal with city traffic all weekend. The floor plan was perfect for two couples. One got a bedroom with a private bathroom, the other got a bigger room with a tv (and a bathroom across the hall). The rooms are on opposite sides of the condo so there was a lot of privacy. We found the instructions for everything (location, keys, parking, entry/exit) to be very well explained and easy to follow. We will definitely be back." - Mike and Tempie P., 05/31/2017 (inquire/book) So glad another guest loved one of our Picture Properties Harbor Steps units! Thanks! Debra, Picture Properties
"Our family of 4 had an excellent time exploring all that Seattle has to offer. This property makes for a perfect home base for every Seattle attraction." - Jeremy P., 04/21/2017 (inquire/book) "This apartment was all that was advertised and more. Debra at Picture Properties was great to work with and was quick and responsive. We originally had another property that had an issue outside of her control and she worked with us to resolve quickly and gave us a few options to work with. I'm glad we went with this apartment because it was in the heart of everything and the apartment was spacious with great views. If we ever find ourselves back in Seattle we would definitely consider this apartment again. The checkin instructions were detailed and easy to follow and she even helped us out with getting checked in at 2am in the morning and made parking a breeze. If you're thinking about this place, don't hesitate at all!" - Frank A., Orlando, FL, 04/16/2017 (inquire/book) Great to hear this guest loved their stay with Picture Properties! Thank you!
"My family of 5 (myself, husband, and 3 kids) absoutely loved staying here for our Spring Break getaway to the city! The apartment and building is fabulous. We took advantage of the building's amenities, including the pool and Mingle Room (reserved this room for ourselves for 2 hours -free... played pool and relaxed in this awesome space). The apartment is bright, spacious, super clean, organized, and well stocked. The location to Pike Place Market, the harbor, the art museum, is literally steps away! The restaurant located in the building is delicious! Awesome Happy Hour! Communication with the owner was super easy... as well as checking in and out. 100% recommend this apartment!" - Jennifer H., 04/16/2017 (inquire/book) So glad another Picture Properties guest had a wonderful experience!
"We loved staying here! We took advantage of the great amentiies in the building- pool, Rec room, etc. beautiful, light, bright, spacious condo. So incredibly close to the market, the piers, the museums, restaurants. We couldn't recommend this condo more! Definitely will return." - Jennifer H., 04/15/2017 (inquire/book) "This apartment was wonderful - extremely clean, well equipped, and in a great location. Minutes walk to most tourist sights, plenty of restaurants, close to (no view of) the harbor. Good parking. Rooms generously sized and very comfortable. Debra was wonderful to work with! We really enjoyed our stay." - Donna A., 04/14/2017 (inquire/book) "A very clean condo. Perfect for 2 couples. Very roomy and in a perfect location to everything downtown. The parking was right at the elevator to our floor. The instructions provided to us were very clear and easy to follow upon check in and check out. I plan stay here next time I am in Seattle." - Tammi S., 04/11/2017 (inquire/book) "What a great apartment! We chose this VRBO property for its reasonable price, great location downtown, and close proximity to the waterfront. it also has the BEST restaurant next door - Vons 1000 Spirits Gustobistro. It was so great we ate there twice in one day! Other than taking an Uber to the Space Needle we were able to walk to everything we needed to during our stay. The apartment was clean and had amazing views due to it being a corner apartment. We did hear a small child running around upstairs the first night quite late but I suppose that is to be expected in a multi-story property. There is also a lot of street noise - but again, if you want to stay right downtown with a view from your bedroom it is just one of the tradeoffs! Would absolutely book again." - Krista B., Brentwood, CA, 03/04/2017 (inquire/book) So glad another guest had a great time. I am actually surprised they could hear anyone above them. It's concrete and steel construction and we have never heard anyone above us, nor heard that from any of our guests before now. We have been at Harbor Steps for over 5 years now with 8 apartments there. It certainly is a great downtown location!! Let us know if you have any questions. Debra, Picture Properties
"First, Debra was quick to help us when we contacted her. Beware of parking in the wrong tower lot. Never get off the elevator (which you already know is wrong) and try to find the correct tower! You could die and never be found in that maze of apartments! Stick with walking around the parking lots until you find the correct tower elevator (in our case it was Southeast Tower. The parking sticker/fob thing is confusing. It didn't register to us that the parking pass was in the apartment in a lock box so we had to work hard to get the parking attendant to open up the arm so we could get out on the first day. The information was there was there but there was so much to read we didn't get it. There are four towers and be sure you get the right one. My sheets smelled like sweat. I didn't realize there was a second set so I continued to use them on the first night. I believe that they do not wash the sheets properly: The maid has to wash them in the condo during her cleaning time (and I am sure she wants out of there quickly). I am 99% sure that she puts the top and bottom sheets and pillowcases all in at one time into the small, small apartment washer. There is no room for the water to agitate. The sheets absorb the water rather than agitate. So in order to get out of there quickly, I believe they don't wash sheets properly. And they probably use the smallest agitation time so they can get out of there quickly. If you can overlook these things, it is the perfect place to stay to see Pike's Market, etc. downtown. The condo itself was nice and clean, but: I wouldn't go back to this property and wouldn't recommend it to anyone." - Stephanie P., Torrance, CA, 11/07/2016 (inquire/book) I am sorry to say that this guest was confused (and made incorrect assumptions) about a few things. She (self-admittedly in the review) did not completely read our arrival info, which is extrememly detailed and thorough. She had to call me several times (we always answered promptly and courteously) asking about parking and wifi, etc. Again, all info is in arrival info email sent the week before the stay. When I tried to explain over the phone (and redirect her to the email), she \
"The pictures of this property do not do it justice! We stayed at this property for 2 nights in October and we wished we had planned to stay longer - everything downtown Seattle is in walking distance. The beds were super comfy the kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room for our family of 6. The balcony was great and the view from the master was beautiful. Parking was super easy too. Truly a great stay in Seattle- we don't have a bad thing to say! The property manager was also great - she is a pleasure to work with." - Pat H., Tucson, AZ, 11/01/2016 (inquire/book) "I could not have found a better place to stay. Not only was the location just perfect, the two bedroom, two bathroom condo was perfect for two couples! Having a little patio with two tables and 4 chairs was perfect to enjoy a cocktail outside or get some fresh air. Overall the place had everything you could possibly need. It's clean, comfortable and location make this selection an A+!" - Cathleen S., 10/17/2016 (inquire/book) "Very comfortable apartment and the location is ideal." - Christa D., 10/16/2016 (inquire/book) "We stayed here for five days and four nights for work. The location is perfect, one block from Pike Place Market. The condo has a great size kitchen, small patio, and plenty of space. I would definitely recommend you stay here if you are looking to stay in Seattle." - Matt K., Scottsdale, Arizona, 09/24/2016 (inquire/book) "The property itself was a great location to all of the waterfront and market sites. Plenty of room for two couples with all amenities. The city noise is understandable as we brought sound machines that helped us sleep. There were small issues with queen bedroom door and the king bathroom door both sticking. Just made it very loud and hard to open and close. A suggestion would be to shave doors and also replace couches due to being worn out. Other than the minor issues, this is a great location to experience Seattle and would highly recommend this to anyone. We had a great time and a wonderful experience." - Harvey K., 09/19/2016 (inquire/book) "Wonderful stay at a beautiful place." - Megan G., 08/29/2016 (inquire/book) "Fantastic location with everything that you'll need." - Cassie N., 08/08/2016 (inquire/book) "We loved our stay at Harbor Steps #801. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The location can't be beat. Very close to Pike's market. Tons of restaurants and shopping nearby (even a Target for any essentials you forget). One night we used the common deck and grill on the 5th floor to grill fresh seafood and veggies from the market, and ate on our own balcony overlooking the Seattle Art Museum -- just lovely! Deborah was a pleasure to work with. We hope to come back soon!" - Terri M., 08/03/2016 (inquire/book) "This was our first visit to Seattle and we shared the condo with one other couple. We loved being in the heart of the city and a short walk to Pike's Place Market. It was also nice having a concierge in the lobby. However, we expected higher quality mattresses and pillows given the cost of the rental and the upscale area. All four of us found the beds very uncomfortable. The 2nd bedroom did not have a TV in it, which was disappointing to the other couple. if you are not used to urban noise, the traffic is very loud all of the time. The management communicated very well with instructions during the rental process." - Rose W., 07/29/2016 (inquire/book) We are sorry that these guests did not find the mattresses comfortable. If you peruse through our hundreds and hundreds of reviews for all our downtown Seattle apartments, you will find many comments about how comfortable the beds are. We buy plush to plush firm mattresses. Maybe these guests were used to soft mattresses or memory foam, which we do not have. We have a couple 2-bedroom units with TV's in both bedrooms. We do not advertise a TV in both bedrooms in this unit, so not sure why they expected that - they did not ask us about it. Thanks and let us know if you have any questions! Debra, Picture Properties
"Perfect location and easy arrival and exit. Big apartment with good amenities." - Hillary L., 07/16/2016 (inquire/book) "A nice building in a very convenient location. The unit was very clean and functional. Our only issue was the street noise, especially at night. Even though the unit is on the 8th floor, the bar crowd across the street and vehicle noise, including LOUD motorcycle revving in the middle of the night made for less than ideal sleep. In the city we expect sirens and buses but I mention this because if you have younger children or are a light sleeper, you may want a unit on a higher floor." - Elisabeth G., Carver, 07/01/2016 (inquire/book) Yes, Harbor Steps is RIGHT in the middle of downtown Seattle, although it's a better location than Bellltown or Pioneer Square as far as avoiding night club noise. Some guests find that staying in a big city is not right for them. I would encourage you to read our hundreds of other reviews for all our rentals at Harbor Steps. Many of them mention they are surprised how quiet the units are. Thanks! Debra, Picture Properties
"We spent a weekend here. We enjoyed the location, it is in the middle of everything, you don't really need any transportation, tons of restaurants around and just 5 min to Pike place. Apartment is spacious, clean and has everything one needs on vacation! Debra was super helpful & replied quick to all emails. :)" - Yulia M., 06/29/2016 (inquire/book) "This place was great, everything was as it was listed. The unit was very comfortable and clean, the staff at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. We used the pool and outdoor terrace/grill, both were great. I called the owner once to discuss parking, they were very helpful and courteous. This was our first visit to Seattle and we didn't know the city at all, but this was a great location, just blocks from Pike Place, Aquarium, shopping, there are a number of restaurants in or very close to the building, no need for a car. If we did it again we'd do it exactly the same." - Robert J., 06/14/2016 (inquire/book) "The apartment was in the heart of downtown! Across the street from the Seattle Art Museum and a block from Pikes market. Several restaurants and places to shop all around. Must love city the sights and sounds of the city as it can be quite noisy at times. But would definitely rent this prosperity again." - Carol M., Orinda, Calufornia, 04/27/2016 (inquire/book) "If you're looking for a beautiful and comfortable condo to base your visit to downtown Seattle out of, look no further! My stay was top-notch from start to finish. The unit was exactly as described--what you see in the pictures is what you get. The unit (and the building itself) was clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. I'm a VRBO veteran and this is the first rental I've come across that was actually STOCKED with the necessities. Many will say that they provide laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc. but you only get enough to get you through a day or two. This condo had detergent, paper towels, TP, and shampoo to spare. We felt safe and secure in our quiet downtown oasis (the concierge at the front door was nice for an added sense of security). For such a large building we often felt like we were one of just a handful of people staying there. The unit was quiet in terms of noise from neighbors (we heard a door shut in the hallway ONCE during our entire stay) and the noise off the street was reasonable and expected for a downtown location. The location was perfect and allowed us to take full advantage of all downtown Seattle had to offer. Pike Place Market was steps away (all the better for early morning runs to Piroshky Piroshky!), the Seattle Art Museum is your view from the living room, great restaurants abound in walking distance, and there are too many attractions within a 1-mile radius to name. The Seattle Aquarium is minutes away (the building is near easy access to the waterfront area) and is definitely recommended for adults and kids alike. Debra with Picture Properties was responsive and professional and while there was no need to contact her while we were there, I have no doubt that any issue that came up would have been dealt with promptly. The value of this unit was the cherry on top of a great experience. I initially shopped around for rates at hotels downtown and there is absolutely nothing that comes close to the quality of this unit at the price. I would definitely recommend this unit or other Picture Properties units in the Harbor Steps buildings." - Sarah P., Yakutat, AK, 02/22/2016 (inquire/book) "Check in was a breeze and it was only an elevator ride up to the apartment. When I first walked in I was impressed with how spacious and clean the place was. The Seattle view was amazing! You can see the famous \" - Anonymous, Maple Valley, WA, 02/07/2016 (inquire/book) "We are so glad we discovered what my wife and I believe to be Seattle's best kept secret. The location is smack dab in the center of all the seattle night life. And units are spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is even a kitchen! We live in the burbs but when we want to experience the city this is absolutely the way to go. And if you have kids its a great trip for them too. There's a pool and its walking distance to lots of family friendly daytime activities." - Anonymous, 02/06/2016 (inquire/book) "This was a great get away for my husband and I in the city. It is so centrally located and had a fun view of the Seattle Art Museum. There are tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping (including Pike Place Market) close by. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities. The building has a great indoor pool and game room, we are planning on bringing the kids next time. The bed was very comfortable and I am very particular about beds, pillow, and bedding. We will be coming back very soon!" - Krista L., 02/06/2016 (inquire/book) "As a birthday present, my daughter treated me to a weekend in downtown Seattle. From this central location, we had ready access to Benaroya Hall (home of Seattle Symphony), Seattle Art Museum (right across the street), Pike Place Market (2 blocks north), the Seattle waterfront (1 block west) and a quick $6.25 UBER ride to Seattle Center. In addition to its stellar location, this property provides safe (concierge monitored) lodging with accommodations that were great. I have traveled a lot and I rate this property 5 stars. I am already hinting for a return visit for my next birthday." - Graeber, Issaquah WA 98027 USA, 02/06/2016 (inquire/book) "This space is perfect for a city adventure. Walking distance to all the attractions, wonderful food and late night bars. The space is clean, spacious and great for a family or couples with two bedrooms and large living space. Great pool for an evening or morning swim. Loved opening the windows in the morning to the view of the city and all the amenities needed. We will visit again." - Blythe M., 02/05/2016 (inquire/book) "Great location in a comfortable unit. It was nice, not great. The construction project next door is just getting started and will be impacting this location for quite some time. Unknown how it will be effecting the only views of the water from this unit (we stood out by elevators in hall for the best views). Curtains would be a nice extra addition. Very close to a lot of things. We had a car and the parking option was a plus. We would stay in this building again, but maybe not in this unit. We thought it seemed dated for their \" - Lane R., Cromwell, IN, 10/29/2015 (inquire/book) Please note, the contents of this unit were moved Dec 2015 to a larger unit at Harbor Steps (current photos and description are accurate). It has very good city views with a ton of light. No longer a good view of Ferris Wheel. Please see photos. Yes, there is construction all over downtown Seattle now - it just cannot be avoided anywhere. The tower being built does not affect our view because we moved units. The furnishings and decor in this unit are just 2 years old, so not \
"The apartment was just as advertised. Close to everything and very comfortable. At the time of year the blinds were fine as the sun did not rise as early as spring or summer. Furnishings and carpet are a bit dated but did not take away from the charm of the apartment. Amenities in apartment were most appreciated. Would definitely go back." - Jean M., 10/22/2015 (inquire/book) Please note, the contents of this unit were moved Dec 2015 to a larger unit at Harbor Steps in the SE tower, almost 1300 sq ft (current photos and description are accurate). It has very good city views with a ton of light. No longer a good view of Ferris Wheel. Please see photos. The carpet in the old place was brown so made the place feel dated. Now we have nice wood laminate floors that are beautiful!
"This apartment was perfect for our get-a-way to Seattle. Located on the 15th floor in the SW Tower, at the end of the hall, just like it says in the listing. The rooms are spacious, beds and couches are very comfortable. Curtains in the master bedroom are for show, they don't close. The blinds are ok, but allows sunlight in early in the morning. Bring ear plugs if you're sleeping in the 2nd bedroom. There's construction going on directly across the street. The crew got going early at 7am and continued throughout the day. Weekends are much quieter. This unit doesn't have air conditioning, but it wasn't needed when we were there. Windows open for a wonderful breeze! The balcony overlooks Harbor Steps as well as the museum and you can see the Ferris Wheel and the water from this view. In between the 4 Harbor Steps Towers is Post Alley, take that short cut to Pikes Market, via the gum wall. This unit is very close to the pier and all the attractions of Downtown Seattle. Just a short walk to the Brooklyn for the best steak dinner in town. A car is not needed when staying at Harbor Steps, take the Light Rail from the Airport and it lets you off two blocks from the apartment. Debra, the property manager was wonderful to work with. We will definitely stay at this unit next time we're in Seattle." - Annie B, 10/11/2015 (inquire/book) Please note, the contents of this unit were moved Dec 2015 to a larger unit at Harbor Steps in the SE tower, almost 1300 sq ft (current photos and description are accurate). "Great place to stay. Friendly staff. Very clean and in a great location. A++" - Mark, San Diego, 09/09/2015 (inquire/book) "Our condo in Harbor Steps was perfectly located. We could walk to Pike's market and the Seattle Art Museum. Belltown and the gorgeous Seattle library were just a short distance as was Columbia Tower. The condo was well equipped and all items worked, for example, the coffee maker, microwave, and hairdryers." - Jane P., 09/01/2015 (inquire/book) "Clean, good location. Well equipped and thoughtful touches like umbrellas, coffee and filters, laundry detergent etc. Noisy because of street noise and highways. We were unable to use the balcony due to the roar." - Heidi R., 08/25/2015 (inquire/book) This is a downtown apartment, so it's no noisier (quieter with windows closed) than any other downtown location. Let us know if you have any questions at all! Thanks! Debra, Picture Properties
"Nice location, no air conditioning which was a problem during a hot summer TV did not work, kitchen very basic windows open were only option to get temperature down to sleep construction next door was an early alarm" - William B., Tulsa, OK, 08/09/2015 (inquire/book) So sorry to get a 3-star review due to no AC - very disappointing since we work hard to meet or exceed our guests' expectations. We make sure our guests know we do not have AC by putting it in our listing, in our rental agreement (guests sign and return) and even in our arrival info. 85% of Puget Sound area residences do not have central AC since we rarely need it. We are having a hot summer here in Seattle this year! Also, had this guest let me know about the TV, we could have had it fixed right away. Turns out the TV worked, but there were just a few channels that did not have a good picture. Since learning about this today, we have already sent Wave Broadband (our carrier) over to fix the issue - problem solved. Most of our guests feel our kitchens are very well-equipped, so not sure what this guest meant by basic. If we have a basic item missing, our housekeeper would bring it that day to the unit. Please, if you have any issues during your stay - just ask and we can help! Thanks! Debra, Picture Properties
"We had a wonderful time in Seattle. We rented a car but hardly needed it since most attractions are within walking distances. The location of the rental is superb, close to the waterfront, ferris wheel, the aquarium, Pike Place market, etc... We had everything we needed in the apartment. The fans provided for each room kept us comfortable. The noise from the construction crew nearby did not bother us since it started late in the day and ended early in the evening...We slept well every night :)" - Thuy N., Daly City, 08/01/2015 (inquire/book) "Well, we happened to stay during what was probably the hottest it had ever been in Seattle. Unfortunately for us the unit had no air which was clearly stated in the description, there were two fans which were not enough to get the air flowing. I called up the property management and they let us use a units fan that was not booked. The unit was very clean and in great shape. They provided shampoo and conditioner for each bath however the master bath had two bottles of shampoo so we were constantly running between the bathrooms for conditioner. Showers had no pressure but that might be Seattle's water conservation restrictions. Beds and couches were very comfortable, the view from the balcony was spectacular. Queen bedroom had a cool breeze at night so that room was perfect for sleeping. There was a Target 2 blocks up where you could buy grocery's. Would have been nice if the unit provided a portable travel cart that collapses to carry the food from the store, I purchased one for $21 and left it in the unit for the next guest. Hope housekeeping or management do not remove it as it was so easy carrying a weeks worth of food without killing yourself. Would I stay in the unit again, absolutely." - terese m., 07/14/2015 (inquire/book) Please note, the contents of this unit were moved Dec 2015 to a larger unit at Harbor Steps in the SE tower, almost 1300 sq ft (current photos and description are accurate). "The location of this property is fantastic and that can make a stay; location, location. You do not need a car if you stay here. We came in from the airport on light rail and left the same way, the University station is only 1 1/2 blocks east on University and Third. Pike Market is two blocks, the Big Wheel is 1 1/2 blocks, if only the seawall construction were finished. We walked to the mono-rail station to reach The Space Needle and the several museums at it's base, then walked back. Target is close for groceries and there are many restaurants nearby, including Von's, which is IN THE BUILDING, with some great food choices. The unit itself is spacious, clean and modern. Furniture was comfortable, not some cheesy junk that just looks good. There was a good selection of utensils in the kitchen, we had all breakfasts and cooked one dinner in. The view is there as pictured, but not from the living room. It's best appreciated from the balcony and is super at sunset with the big wheel all lit up. An annoyance for me was the noise from the freeway, but that can be minimized with doors closed. Debra was very responsive to any contacts about the process, I would look forward to staying here again!" - David D., Denver, 07/03/2015 (inquire/book) Please note, the contents of this unit were moved Dec 2015 to a larger unit at Harbor Steps in the SE tower, almost 1300 sq ft (current photos and description are accurate). "This was an excellent location for exploring Seattle from Pikes Place to Pioneer Square! Good security, nice space, good beds & linens, and washer/dryer topped off with a view of the water and Seattle Great Wheel. We walked almost everywhere only taking uber to a food tour several blocks away. There are a variety of good restaurants and a Target within a couple blocks. The only negatives were the air mattress did not inflate, we felt the porch bar spacing was not safe for my 2 year old granddaughter, and I had not realized there was no AC. I think it was unusually warm while we were there and we had to keep the patio door and reachable windows closed because of the 2yo. We were still comfortable with the fans provided. They were also able to facilitate a slightly early arrival based on our flight and late departure based on our cruise check-in with us starting washing of linens and having dishes done. I HIGHLY recommend this unit and would definitely use it for future visits!" - Daphne W., 06/18/2015 (inquire/book) We are glad this guest enjoyed the unit. We wanted to clarify a few things. Please note, the airbed was working (guests before and after them used it successfully). I wish she would have contacted us when they had troubles because we would have happily assisted her. Also, the balcony railing is up to code (4 inch spacing) and is completely safe for young kids (provided they don't stand on a chair!). Also, the windows only open 4\
