"Our daughter got married in Guatemala last week. We were happy to find this group of houses together. As our guest list grew so did your needs. We actually ended up renting a 5th house next door and an additional one outside of the complex. The set up was perfect. Having a common courtyard that connected the homes with a beautiful pool and hot tub was great for sitting out in the morning for breakfast and catching up after a day of exploring. The wedding took place on the 4 day of our 5 day stay. Because of the way the housing was arranged everybody knew each other by this time, which made their visit and our wedding all the more meaningful. This would not have been possible had we rented rooms in a hotel. As for the accommodations themselves, each home was beautifully decorated and well maintained. The cleaning staff was delightful and very attentive. The guards were friendly and our guest who had not been to Guatemala felt safe in the neighborhood. The communication with Flor was easy through email and all questions were answered promptly. The location is in a quite area of town close to the market and easily walkable to the main square and restaurants. Antigua is a beautiful city. I would highly recommend these homes, especially if you have a large group for any occasion. "Loved the spaciousness of this place and the fact that we all could have king sized beds! Also the welcome basket of coffee and banana bread and jam was a very nice touch, as was shampoo etc in the bathrooms. We struggled to find the wifi password, the toilet on the main floor ran (my husband fixed it) We loved the proximity to town and how friendly, nice and helpful everyone who worked there was! Flor was so responsive in helping me with transportation to the airport, I so appreciate that. "Our group of 22 (8 adults and 14 youths) just returned from a wonderful week in Antigua. We rented Casa San Juan, Santa Catarina and Santa Cruz and they exceeded our every expectation. The homes are incredibly roomy and very comfortable. The community is beautiful and safe and centrally located. Most importantly, the people are so wonderfully welcoming. Flor, Marcella and Magno in the office, the great ladies that clean and care for the property and Claudia and Mayda the amazing cooks always greet you with a huge smile and do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Our dealings with Paola and Philippa were smooth, pleasant and professional. As with their staff they were genuinely interested in making sure our trip was as great as it could be. "Our stay at Casa Santa Catarina was absolutely wonderful. We traveled back to Guatemala with several families with whom we are very good friends. We had all adopted children from Guatemala five years previously, and this was the children's first trip back to their birth country. The houses were just perfect for our needs. Each family had their own separate house and space, but the children were free to run back and forth across the courtyard between the houses, visiting and playing together. They spent LOTS of time splashing in the pool, which gave the parents time to sit and visit. The houses were all very spacious and quite clean and met all of our needs. The housekeeper Dona Clara did a great job each day, and she also cooked several delicious meals for us during our stay.
