The Marina is fully operational, and has boat slips available for yachts up to 150 feet. The charming canals that are along the Marina will take you back to 17th-century Venice. For your convenience, mini-steamboats will whisk you to wherever you wish to go and they are also called vaporettos like their Italian counterpart. "We had a wonderful time staying at Acquamarina 1022 in Cap Cana. The property is more spacious than the pictures do justice. We were 5 people, including 3 children, which was very comfortable in the condo. The location for a relaxing vacation cannot be beat as even during high season, this property feels very secluded. The property grounds include two large swimming pools, two hot tubs, large semi-private beach with coves designed to keep the rough waves away. There are even a number of cabanas available on a first come, first serve basis across the beach, which were wonderful. Absolutely stunning views of the ocean, white beach sand and more. We also really enjoyed the restaurants located in and about the marina property. A nice 5-10 minute walk from the unit with some of the best Italian and local foods you'll find anywhere in Punta or Cap Cana. If you want more action, it is only a 15-20 minute drive to Bavaro area, which has shopping, restaurants, more. There are plenty of activities in the surrounding areas within 10-20 minute drive as well for those who like cave exploration, swimming in natural cenotes, zip lining, dune buggy tours and more. We highly recommend this property if you like space, quiet beaches, and relaxation with a go-at-your-own-pace feeling."
