Aleta and I came for a respite from a busy life - mine includes a husband and seven children - and we got just what we came for. The scenery is breathtaking; the town of Asheville is so much fun; and the cabin is so peaceful and serene. I had the joy of sleeping in the loft - made me feel like a little girl again. Waking up to the babbling brook was almost as sweet as going to sleep listening to it. I hope someday to come back, maybe even more than once. It made a great girls' getaway but it would also make a great second honeymoon place. After 25 years my hubby and I are ready for that.
