"What a great welcome! After traveling 36 hours we arrived to a delightful welcome from Marea. From here on, it only got better. Our stay was for 12 days with 2 "parents" and 5 "kids" aged 18 to 24. The location was spot on with the subway 5 min walk and Times Square an easy 15-20 min. All amenities are within 3-5 min walk. Great safe locale. The apartment itself was adequate for our uses with an outdoor area that included a wonderful Xmas tree and REAL snow!!! We lucked out, as they say. We silly Kiwis also had a Xmas BBQ outside in minus 6c and dinner for 10 in the apartment. We used all rooms with seven actually staying however we really only slept there and were out and about from 9am-10am until late (great bars and restaurants around the area). 2 toilets and one shower (good pressure). Very comfortable beds. Plenty of towels. Beats 3-4 hotel rooms any day. This apartment only added to our Big Apple experience. Thanks Marea and Family and yes, see you in New Zealand sometime soon.
