Property AmenitiesThe home is located on the 3rd floor (top floor) of one of Sarteano's most important historical buildings. This building, named Palazzo Gabrielli, was built in the 11th century but was restored in the 15th century. The entire palazzo has been beautifully and professionally restored in the historical standards set out by the Italian Ministry of Art and Culture. It is also the home of The Archaeology Museum of Sarteano, which is located throughout the ground floor and contains the finds from the local Etruscan Tombs which have been recently discovered in the hills around Sarteano. Palazzo Gabrielli is officially designated as a historical landmark of Sarteano and of the region of Siena. Our spacious third floor apartment, Casa Sarteano, has also been professionally restored and tastefully decorated in the same traditional standards to comfort all guests. Seven large windows overlook the historic town on one side and the breathtaking Tuscan countryside on the other.
