This architecturally designed home, "War Dance", is in the Mountain Village of the Big Sky Ski and Summer Resort. War Dance is nestled in the trees on a secluded, residential cul-de-sac where the Middle Fork of the Gallatin River runs at its edge. It is ski in/out accessible and Yellowstone Park is just 18 miles from our home which makes our home an excellent base for day trips to the park.
Our custom home was architecturally designed and custom built. It contains approximately 3,000 square feet on two levels. There are three bedrooms, three and one-half baths, two living areas, three decks and a heated two car garage. The interior has soaring ceilings and expansive windows with beautiful unobstructed views. The furnishings and artwork are exquisite and reflect the genuine feel of the Western Rocky Mountains.

King size master bedroom suite with double sink private bath, shower, jacuzzi tub, and private deck. Queen size guest bedroom with double sink private bath, and door to deck. Lodgepole bunk bedroom with two upper twins and two lower double beds (upper beds are not suitable for adults). Full size bath off of bunk room, and family room downstairs with queen size Murphy wall bed. Two living areas with deck and dining room seats 10. Kitchen has every cooking amenity, seating for 4 and service for 12. Heated two car garage, boot/glove dryer, wood burning fireplace and outdoor hot tub. Three satellite TV/VCR (one with DVD), CD player/radio, telescope, etc. This home has absolutely every amenity to make your stay an enjoyable one.
Amenities of the Resort/Surrounding Community
Some of our favorite winter activities, besides sitting by the warm fire are: Downhill skiing at one of the top ski resorts in the US with no lift lines! Nordic skiing, back country skiing, snow sledding, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, and snow coach trips to Yellowstone National Park. In the summer, hiking and wildlife viewing are right outside our door. When we are not sitting on the deck listening to the roar of the Middle Fork of the Gallatin River or fly fishing in the best rivers, lakes and streams in the US, we are: at the stocked lake at the top of our road, or river rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, playing golf on the 18-hole, par 72 Arnold Palmer course, or playing tennis or at the swimming pool. From the peaceful vacationer to the sports enthusiast, Big Sky has something for everyone!
