"We came to attend and run a thyroid cancer survivors booth at the Stowe "Weekend of Hope". During our stay we worked at the health fair, went to Ben and Jerry's, Cabots, Emily's bridge, climbed a mountain (sort of), went out to eat, and enjoyed the serenity of the beautiful mountains and scenery! We snuggled by the fire, watched Spiderman about 52 times (my son's favorite), and relaxed in your beautiful condo. I truly want to thank you for your tremendous generosity. The "Weekend of Hope" is so important to us for many reasons. I am only 26 years old, my son is 5. My illness has taken so much of my time, money, and energy! Thank you so much for allowing us to have a family vacation that we never would have been able to take. I am writing in your guest book, sitting on the deck, and enjoying the last few hours of this peacefullness. This weekend could not have come at a more 'needed' time in my life.
