This home is on the Withlacoochi River -- one of the oldest rivers in Florida. "Seclusion" is located 20 miles w of Ocala, 5 miles from Dunnellon, a short drive to Crystal River (Gulf Coast), 1.5 hrs from Disney, 1.5 hrs to Seaworld Resorts in Tampa. Located in Central Florida.
4 bedrooms up 2 baths, large eat in kitchen and open living room with fireplace. 16/16 screened gazebo that is attached to a large deck and a separate dock area. Downstairs has an efficiency apartment with a kitchenette, large porch with rocking chairs that overlook the pier, dock and deck areas. You can bring your boat right up to the house. This home is a perfect retreat for adults. Corporate retreats and private retreats are invited. The grounds are very large and perfect for entertaining.
On the river there is great fishing, kayaking, boating, nature watching...otters, fox, deer, all types of birds, panthers...it's a great area for nature lovers who enjoy Seclusion.
This river feeds into Rainbow River which is spring fed and is famous for it's "tubing" during the summer months.
The nearest town, Dunnellon is about 5 miles and has several nice restaurants, historical shops and a small local marina where you can rent boats. The trees are all covered in moss and beautiful whether it be Spring or Fall.
