Vacation like a celebrity at “Palm Springs Midmod”, our lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath pool home with private pool house/cabana. Located in a very serene section of the prestigious Movie Colony East neighborhood of central Palm Springs, the home is a short walk or bike ride to the Uptown Design District of Palm Canyon Drive and all the shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences that the downtown area has to offer. Grab a morning espresso at Koffi, enjoy brunch at Cheeky's, and dine in style at Trio or any number of excellent restaurants, all within minutes of the house. But once you enter our magnificent yellow double doors, you may not want to leave.

Built in 1957 at the height of the “Mid Century Modern” movement, the house has been lovingly restored to its original glory with a full complement of modern conveniences, including a brand new, fully stocked kitchen with slick grey cabinetry, all stainless steel appliances, quartz counter-tops, and designer glass tile back splash. Start your morning sipping coffee while taking in the view of the San Jacinto mountains from the breakfast nook with a full floor to ceiling window. The kitchen counter with bar stools makes for casual dining and keeps the cook connected to our open floor plan "great room".

Our over-sized living area with cool tiled floors and original vaulted, post and beam ceilings spotlights the original brick fireplace and a 50" flat panel HDTV with Roku streamer. You'll have no choice but to relax in this open "great room" where cooking, dining and entertaining all co-exist effortlessly. The space is incredibly light and bright with a wall of windows out to our entertainers back-yard for true indoor/outdoor living.

The outdoor space features a large patio that runs the length of the house and provides ample space for dining, sunbathing, and enjoying each others company while admiring the breathtaking views of the majestic San Jacinto mountains. Relax poolside on one of our chaise lounges or take a break from the summer heat in our private cabana/pool room with fully plumbed bar unit, beer fridge, flat panel TV and even a slushie machine! The garage has been converted into a deluxe game room with pool table and full size, coin-op arcade classics from the 80's. Take the games outside on our lush backyard lawn with a provided full-size corn-hole set, bocce balls and croquet set. The house has endless entertainment options!

The master bedroom suite has been outfitted with a “Heavenly” king bed (same as you'll find at the Westin) and provides direct access to the backyard space through over-sized glass sliders. The master bathroom was remodeled with a quartz counter top vanity and large, walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms on the other side of the house share a guest bathroom with a shower over tub. Each guest bedroom is equipped with a “Heavenly” queen bed and flat panel HDTV with Roku streaming device. The entire house has been tastefully decorated to capture the flair of the mid century modern style and will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed, even if you have to check in from time to time via our wireless high speed Internet.

Please be aware that “Palm Springs Midmod” is privately owned and managed and located in a quiet, family neighborhood. The home is offered primarily as a “family rental” and is not available to host events of any kind. We do not rent to groups of individuals under 28 years of age and we strictly enforce our occupancy limits with an external security system. If you are looking for a Palm Springs 'party pad', you won't find it here, and if you have a group larger than 6 adults and are looking to save money by booking a smaller, less expensive place and then crashing on floors, please look elsewhere (or, better yet, just don't do it).
