Additional Rate Details and Rental Terms All reservations require a 50% deposit and the security deposit within 7 days of booking for confirmation. Please note: The reservation will automatically be canceled if payment is not received on time. The balance of rental must be paid a month before your arrival date in a personal check in US funds. If reservations are made for Christmas or New Years weeks, then 100% of rental and security deposit are required within 7 days of booking. Failure to pay rental deposit, security deposit or balance of rental time could result in loss of reservation. Damage deposit is $300 USD. "Extra" charges are billed separately and would include transportation, activities, tips, phone calls, etc.
Cancellations should be in writing and are effective from the date we receive and acknowledge your fax or e-mail. The rental deposit and the security deposit, less a cancellation fee equal to $100 USD are refundable until 90 days prior to the arrival date. Cancellations between 30-90 days of arrival are subject to a 100% surcharge of the rental. Bookings for Christmas and New Years are subject to 100% surcharge regardless of time of cancellation. In the event of a cancellation we will try to recover your money by rebooking the dates. If we feel it necessary, we will discount the rates in an effort to rebook the dates. Should we be successful at rebooking, then we will refund you the difference between your original booking price and the total of what we have collected, less a cancellation fee equal to $100 USD. 100% of security deposit will be refunded upon any cancellation.
"Let me just say that we truly did enjoy our stay at the condo. One of the reasons that we chose this specific area is because it is not a "high traffic" vacation area. Puerto Avenuras is a small community and while it has good restaurants, Dolphin Discovery and shopping, it is not an extremely commercial area making it a very restful place to vacation. The condo is in one of the finest locations that I have ever stayed in with respect to convenience to the oceanfront (10 steps as promised) and the pool (the 5 steps as promised). The amenities in the condo would be hard to top. With a full bath for each bedroom and a half bath with washer and dryer in the common area it was ideal for 2 couples and 2 children. We took walks on the beach each morning and enjoyed the sunrise, I took advantage of the Spa that is just a very short walk up the beach and had a fabulous massage. We met some of the very nice and helpful condo owners - they are a good group. All in all, this was one of the best vacations we have had and I would certainly do it again.
