Property AmenitiesThe apartment, simply and elegantly furnished, accommodate a maximum of four people (better if 3) and consists of a large living room equipped with a sofabed french size (cms. 133 x 195), TV SAT, an ancient fireplace and kitchen corner equipped with refrigerator, plan baking, working hearth and electrical oven, a double bedroom with a wide wall cupboard, a comfortable bathroom with bath and shower. Independent heating included.
Community AmenitiesThe charming historic town of San Casciano dei Bagni, 67 km from Siena, on the slopes of the Cetona mount between the Val di Chiana and the Val di Paglia, since the Roman age is a famous thermal , hot water SPA with mud and mineral water treatment, both in the countryside and at the recently opened and luxurious Terme di Fonteverde. Not distant from Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Citta' Della Pieve and others important goals of the cultural and gastronomic tourism, San Casciano Dei Bagni is located at the crossroads between Tuscany, Lazio and Umbria, it is less than an hour drive to the spectacular towns of Orvieto, Todi, Perugia, Pienza, Città della Pieve, Siena, Montepulciano, Cortona and Bagni Vignoni. Sarteano (8 miles away) is another famous spot given its cool mountains air and lovely fresh mineral water pool, not to mention the many establishments in Chianciano. La "Casina" is an easy 90 drive (A1 highway) from airports in Rome and Florence and also 15 minutes from the city of Chiusi, from where trains part for all major destinations. One can go horseback riding in the stables at nearby Celle sul Rigo mountain biking or hiking through the Tuscan hills, or take the train to see the splendors of Rome and Florence and the many jewels in between. There are many superior restaurants in the area serving some of the local Tuscan specialties, including the "ribollita" soup (vegetables and bread) and the "pici all'aglione" (homemade spaghetti made of water and flour in a tomato garlic sauce). Be sure to top it off with local extra virgin olive oil and Chianti wines! A golf Club is in short drive, in Chiusi.
