"Easy walking distance (a few blocks) to the piers/Aquarium/Great Wheel/Pike Place Market. Two blocks from major bus stations on 3rd to take you to Seattle Center (space needle/chihuly museum/pacific science center) the Zoo, etc... Pioneer square and international district w/in walking or short bus ride (Get the King County Metro travel app and you can buy & use tickets right from your phone). Public transportation or Uber from the airport. The area does have some homeless people, but is kept clean and never felt unsafe (and we arrived/checked in at 2am). Traveled with 3 kids and my mom. Plenty of room for all of us, oldest kid took the trundle bed/semi bedroom and parked other kids on the sofas (we didn't bother with the air mattress). We cooked in the kitchen and found everything we needed. We stayed in the NW tower and if you want to use the pool it is a trek to find it. But it was very clean and nice once we found it. We were here in June and the apartment was warm in the afternoons, but fans/open windows cool things down by evening. There is def street noise, but you're in downtown Seattle, so I would expect that. At night I played white noise on my phone and slept with my window open (we were facing downtown) and it didn't bother me. I would def rec it as a place for a family to stay while doing the downtown seattle experience."
