Cueva Paz (which is Peace in Spanish) is a well equipped cave house with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and cave houses of Galera. It has two bedroom, (one single and one with a double bed). A bathroom and open plan kitchen lounge area. Outside, there is a large patio area with pergola and built-in BBQ, offering superb views of the valley and mount Sagra. The village of Galera has 2 local supermarkets, bakeries, a chemist, doctor's surgery, about 5 or 6 bars and restaurants. It also has market day every Wednesday morning where you can buy all your fresh produce.In under 1.5 hours, you can be swimming in the Med in Almeria or exploring the incredible Alhambra Palace in Granada or skiing in the Sierra Nevada. Activities include hiking, biking, horse riding, fishing, quad biking, cycling, and of course, swimming.
