"We stayed at Casa Santa Cruz for two weeks in August 2013. It is a lovely house and very well equipped. We were with our almost two year old and teenager and managed to please both, which is no mean feat! Having access to a pool was a real bonus. We asked about the provision of a cot and stair gate before we arrived and these were very kindly provided (the nicest stair gates I have seen at both top and bottom of stairs!) Flor and the cleaning staff who we saw on a daily basis were wonderfully warm and friendly. The house is very centrally located - I have been to Antigua many times but did not know the neighbourhood and found the walk to the centre fine (others have said that it is longer than specificed - we did not find this). Our small daughter particularly loved greeting the buses and tuc tucs on the way. I would recommend the house. It may a bit more expensive than other rentals we looked at online, but both the safety of the area and the fact that the pool was fenced off were big pluses for us."
