"Our family gathered in Grass Valley for a nieces wedding. Two families stayed at the Victorian Rose and because the wedding reception was held at the Elks Lodge, the rest of the family gathered at the Victorian Rose after the wedding festivities. The house and kitchen accommodated all the eating and merriment. The close proximity to downtown Grass Valley meant that we could make frequent runs to the grocery store when we needed. The family took full advantage of what Grass Valley had to offer, shopping, hiking, skiing and just enjoying the beautiful weather and sunny porch. The game room kept the 30 year old "children" busy and the toys provided "new" interest for the 9 month old. We had a wonderful time"
